Rafał Kasterski is the attorney-at-law, member of the Warsaw Bar Association who also completed a judge’s training concluded with an examination for a judge. He specializes in business, commercial and IT law.

During 1992-1996, Rafał Kasterski worked at the Ministry of Ownership Transformations where he ultimately served as Advisor to the Minister under a PHARE and World Bank-funded contract.

Rafał Kasterski is a co-author of numerous legislative proposals: on commercialization and privatization of state-owned enterprises, on compensation for temporary freezing of salaries in the budget sector and for loss of some pension increases or benefits.

Rafał Kasterski served as a legal counsel of several Polish companies and government agencies. He took part in the development of privatization and restructuring programs, and numerous legal opinions.

For six years Rafał Kasterski was an assistant professor at the Business and Commercial Chair of the Łódź University where he taught business law. He completed Post-Graduate Studies on Legislative Issues at the Warsaw University.

He served as member of the Supervisory Board of a public broadcast station Radio Łódź S.A. in Łódź, member of the Supervisory Board of Polska Żegluga Bałtycka S.A. in Kołobrzeg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PHU Polmozbyt Toruń Holding S.A. in Toruń, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TZF POLFA Tarchomin S.A. He served as member of the Supervisory Board of ce-market.com S.A. and Ecotech Polska S.A.
